THIRD CULTURE KID: People who were raised in a culture other than their parents' or the culture of their country of nationality.
My work is heavy influenced by my South Asian and Caribbean cultures. Using geometric abstraction, traditional patterns and simple faceless portraits, I am documenting my experience living in the united states as a third culture person. My art style is incredibly inspired by movement and fluidity. I use fluid shapes and lines to explore ever-changing concepts like language, culture, gender, identity, and sexuality.
